Purpose and technical function

Adapter spools connect wellheads, BOPs, trees, choke manifolds and kill manifolds where the mating equipment has different connection sizes or pressure classes. The bore transition and minimum OAL are engineered around the specified interfaces and load envelope.

Inspection and testing	Material traceability, dimensional inspection, NDE and pressure/functional testing according to the approved ITP
Documentation	Datasheet, drawings, MTRs, NDE and pressure-test records as specified in the purchase order
