The C21 is a wrap-around slip-type casing hanger. Its segmented slips bite into the casing and distribute the suspended load into the head bowl; annular sealing is provided by a separately selected packoff such as an H-type packoff.

FUNCTION & PURPOSE

Reduces casing deflection through controlled friction
Allows the primary packoff to be selected and installed separately
