Purpose and technical function

A double-studded adapter provides two studded sealing faces in a shorter axial space than a conventional adapter spool. Its use requires confirmation that bore transition, bolt-circle geometry, thickness and pressure/load capacity are suitable for the intended interface.

Inspection and testing	Material traceability, dimensional inspection, NDE and pressure/functional testing according to the approved ITP
Documentation	Datasheet, drawings, MTRs, NDE and pressure-test records as specified in the purchase order
