A casing head spool is a flanged pressure-containing wellhead section used to suspend an intermediate casing string, support drilling pressure-control equipment and provide controlled access to the casing annulus.

COMPONENT ANATOMY
The casing head spool incorporates an upper bowl and load shoulder for the compatible casing hanger, upper and lower flanges with ring-gasket grooves, side outlets, optional lockdown screws, a secondary-seal area and a lower-flange test port. The exact configuration is verified against the casing programme and mating equipment.
C-22 & C-29 DESIGNS
Both designs use a straight-bowl arrangement and can be configured for C-21 or C-22 casing hangers. Final load capacity and compatibility must be confirmed by the selected supplier against the suspended casing load.
Intended for light-to-intermediate casing-string weights. The upper flange can include a full set of lockdown screws for mechanical casing-hanger retention.
Provides the same principal interfaces as the C-22 while being intended for intermediate-to-extreme casing-string weights.

WP: rated working pressure, expressed as 3K = 3,000 psi, 5K = 5,000 psi, 10K = 10,000 psi and 15K = 15,000 psi. LPO: line-pipe outlet. PSL and material class must be confirmed against the applicable API 6A edition, service conditions and approved customer specification.

Supply can be reviewed against API 6A / ISO 10423 and other project-specified requirements, where applicable. The agreed documentation package may include material certificates, dimensional records, pressure-test reports, inspection records, certificates of conformity, packing lists and traceability documents.
