PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Purpose and construction

A positive choke controls flow through a selected fixed bean or orifice. The fixed opening gives a stable, repeatable restriction and can be changed by replacing the trim when a different rate or pressure drop is required.

Technical features

  • 2 in and 3 in nominal body options
  • Figure 1502 male × female union connections
  • Replaceable fixed orifice/bean
  • Forged alloy-steel body
  • Stainless-steel and tungsten-carbide wear parts
  • Replacement parts available for field maintenance

Typical applications

  • Fracturing and flowback
  • Well testing and well clean-up
  • Choke and kill manifolds
  • Wellhead flow restriction
  • Plug-valve choke manifolds
