Back-Pressure Valve & VR Lubricator

Purpose and technical function

A BPV lubricator mounts above the tree master valve to provide a contained operating window for setting or removing a back-pressure valve or two-way check valve in the tubing hanger. Hydraulic assistance can provide controlled force for stuck plugs while maintaining the well-pressure barrier.
